Fees, Insurances and Billing

Insurances accepted: Dr. Vermilyea currently accepts the following insurances: BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Aetna, United Behavioral Health (UBH), Tufts and Harvard Community Health products managed by United Behavioral Health. Many insurances also allow out-of-network agreements.
Please note that it is the patient’s responsibility to check with their insurance policy. If you have any question, please contact Tracy van der Merwe, the practice manager (See Billing questions below).

Self-pay: If you are a self-pay patient, you may submit bills to your insurer for partial reimbursement.

Billing questions: Questions about billing practices and insurance billing can be answered by Tracy van der Merwe (van-da-meer), the practice manager. Call her at (603) 580-2337 or drop her an email.

Cancellation policy: If you are unable to make a scheduled appointment, you need to call and cancel no less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to your appointment time or a cancellation fee will apply.

Please schedule an appointment to be seen. Walk-in appearances disrupt the schedule, so an appointment is always required. Please call or email to schedule an appointment. All calls and emails will be returned as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours.

Payment of fees for services is always the responsibility of the patient. In the case of a dependent or minor another person may accept responsibility for the payments. Please verify what your insurance plan covers. You are expected to pay in full at the time of service. Payment can be made by check or cash, American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Discover.
