Dr. Vermilyea has over 25 years of experience as a cognitive behavior psychologist specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders (including generalized anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, panic disorder and phobias) and depression. Dr. Vermilyea and his associates place importance on equal treatment and a focus on people’s individuality. We do not judge people. We focus on helping people move from where they are psychologically to where they want to be in their lives. We believe that people can make many choices in their life, and that almost no choice is set in stone. If you have a goal in mind, there are many paths to get there. Even if you never make it to your goal, the key is to enjoy your life. We all would like to be in control of our lives. Often we have more control and choice than we think we do.
